Arrived in Singapore at about 5:30 pm. Managed to eat some rather gross plane food, saw the sun rise, didn’t sleep much…..Got into Singapore and visited the outdoor cactus garden at the airport. Decided it was too hot (hey I think 20 degrees is shorts weather now ) and then read some more of my book.
Boarded QF 82….sat around for a while, got told that some part of the plane was busted and they were trying to fix it. Got fed peanuts and orange juice. Got kicked off the plane and onto another one and eventually left two and a quarter hours late. Ooops. At least we wont be arriving at 5am!

Caught the coach back to Ipswich via Cambridge, took about a lifetime to get there…it rained a whole lot of the way and on the way in to Cambridge I saw some pretty spectacular lightning. Packed all my stuff up on Saturday..
On Sunday I passed the time by trying to fit the rest of the stuff that I’d forgotten into my bags, then jumped on the train into London Liverpool Street, caught the tube to Kings Cross/St Pancras, then the Picadilly tube all the way out to Heathrow Terminal 4.
Checked my stuff in….grabbed a cuppa with Rob and then had to say goodbye (gah that’s hard - I mean how do you say bye to a retard *grin*)…and then boarded that QF10 to Singapore…….

Caught a national express coach down to Birmingham from Edinburgh to see my gran. The coach went via Glasgow. I left Edinburgh at about 10 am and arrived into Brum at 6ish. Gah. At least I got a lot of reading done.
Gran made me some dinner, and although I always insist on helping she insists on fussing. SO I had a lovely British dinner of fish fingers, peas and mash! Took my gran out to dinner on Thursday night which was nice…went to one of
the local pubs.
