Last week I read “Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown and this week another novel of his, “Digital Fortress”. If you have any interest in history, art, politics and religion then I think you’ll find “Da Vinci Code” a great read. If you’ve read Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson, then I think you’d enjoy “Digital Fortress” also. Both books were fast paced, with good characters, and excellent plots. I thoroughly recommend both these books.

get a life and stop writing super boring things that nobody will be the least bit interested in reading. perhaps i can write about my weekend, i spent it reading (da vinci code by dan brown), playing scrabble (my housemate thrashed me - hmpf) and watching a baseball match…

Aren’t they beautiful? It’s a shame that they grow up…

Saw this sign in front of a church in Sydney (September 2004) and couldn’t resist taking a photo of it.

another hour, another day, another week, another month.
time passing.
i finally finished watching the hours on monday afternoon. great film. i think i might spend the rest of the afternoon catching up on the rest of the dvds and videos around the house to watch. really i ought to be sleeping, but…. there’s too much on my mind to be able to rest.
last night was an interesting night to say the least. i’m not going to go into details, nor do i want to. the end result is that i was up until 4 am with a head full of crazy thoughts. hopefully tonight i’ll be able to sleep, and there won’t be any tears.
my cough isn’t getting any better, potentially it’s even getting worse. today is the third day i’ve spend hanging around the house… i walked to the end of the street to the post office. i think that’s enough effort for today.
i’ve rescheduled an appointment that i had this afternoon until next week. i’ve turned down my regular wednesday night rock climbing session. i haven’t been to the gym or done anything particularly energetic since tuesday 26th october… not surprising really, considering the way that i’ve been feeling.
okay, enough negativity. i’m going to post a picture to cheer this up.
Byron Bay - September 2004. I spent a few days here in between being in Brisbane for my sister’s wedding and in Sydney to catch up with some friends.
