Kimchi-Jun

Ingredients:

Kimchi
a little mushrooms
50g of shrimp
one egg
onion
100g of green onions
1/2 of a red pepper or any vegetables you like

Dough:
1 cup of flour
3 tablespoons of glutinous rice powder (optional)
1 egg
little bit of salt
water(a little)

Cooking directions

1. Cut mushrooms and onion, chop Kimchi to slices. (Leave kimchi-water separately in a bowl)

2. Drain out the water from the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cover with flour

3. Use flour that mixes with some glutinous rice powder and put a little water.(or In Korean grocery, they sell “buchim-garu” flour which mixed flour/glutionous rice powder/salt already. If you have this, just need egg and water)

4. If there is kimchi-water left, mix it to the flour.

5. Prepare the dough by mixing each ingredient.

6. Add cooking oil on the hot pan and pour a scoop of the dough and place green onions on the top

7. fry them. Flip over when one side is done cooking and cook the other side.  (If you like crispy one, push strongly during fry).
To make a Seafood-Jun use seafood instead of Kimchi.

If you want to serve ‘Jun’ with dipping sauce, mix two spoons of soy, one spoon of vinegar, 1/4 spoon of sugar in a small bowl.
