I think I’m already suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). I’m certainly suffering from something. I seem to be running out of energy a lot quicker than usual. My back aches and I’m tired (weary tired). I went to bed last night at around 7:30 pm after bursting into tears (for no identifyable reason) and I didn’t get up until 8:30 this morning. I feel miserable. I wore black today, all black. Now that doesn’t happen very often anymore.
One of the things I hate about this time of year is coming home to a cold dark empty house. Right now though, even if I turn the lights on, make some noise, put some comfy clothes on, it still seems empty.
I feel discontent.
When I was younger, someone gave me a little book of daily quotes, one quote for every day of the year. I looked up my own date of birth (6th of September) and the quote was “Now is the winter of our discontent“. Is this my curse?
