The photo challenge
I was talking to my sister the other day about life after being on holidays; (for those of you that didn’t know, my boyfriend and I recently spent 3 weeks in Fiji, photos are up on flickr) the back at work blues, the feeling of knowing a city you live in intimately.
My sister has given me a photo challenge, to enable me to look at my home town through the eyes of a tourist/traveller. Firstly I had to take some pictures of where I live, so that she can see what it looks like because it’s too hard for her to have a look as she’s living in Manchester, England right now.
Here’s the challenge:
Challenge 1
- Al Frescoes (?) on Rundle Street
- The Grace Emily
- Heaven Nightclub
- Malls Balls
Challenge 2
- The creek at the end of Willow Lane
- Stirling East Primary School
- A chocolate gingerbread man at Millies Bakery (maybe you could post one to me too?)
- The steamroller in the park next to the theatre
I wonder if I should tell her that Heaven nightclub has closed its doors? She’ll find out when I post the pictures anyway! I’ll put the pics up on flickr and link to them from this post.

Due to no longer having a digital camera :( the photo challenge is on hold.

You should also take photos of things that, as a tourist, you are made to feel like you should take a photo of.
Like the pigs or the fountain.
