How noisy was it for you during the Clipsal 500? Fill in a survey and collectively, maybe we can make a difference. In Townsville, QLD, a city race track is being planned. We can help the Townsville community make a difference on where this track goes.

Personally I enjoyed the Clipsal. I went both days and had an absolute ball. I feel that it’s very unfair that the minority of motorsport fans should be disallowed the use of the parklands THAT WE ALL PAY FOR for a mere 3 days of the year. Everyone else gets to enjoy it all the rest of the year, and the only time that I get to do something I enjoy in the parklands people complain.

I think motor racing in the park lands is great…… events like the clipsal 500 make us the festival state.
if its a noise issue how far do you go? should we get rid of womad too? Im sure there are some people who live on hackney rd who arnt fond of it?
on a financial front i think some tolerance is needed, our little city needs all the exposure and tourism it can get.
