I haven’t forgotten about the book.
And the reason I didn’t lend any of the earlier books in the series is because they are quite different books. Memory marks a distinct change in the series, and I’m not at all sure you would like the earlier books. Still I’ll catch up soon, and bring you an earlier book. Much earlier. hehe.
