6 months in Vanuatu

I’m heading off to Vanuatu for 6 months to work as a School Librarian at Epi High School, Lamen Bay, Epi Island. I’m going as part of a program called Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development, it’s an Australian Federal Government Program that is funded by AusAID. I’m flying there on Friday July 13th and I’m not exactly sure when I’ll be back.

My last day at work is on Friday July 6th and my last weekend in Adelaide until sometime next year is 7th/8th of July. For those of you that know me, come along to my leaving party on Saturday the 7th.

Keep your eyes on my website  and on my flickr pictures for updates.

    Hey Katie,

I’ve just come back from Vanuatu 3 months ago on the ayad program as a librarian, and I should be back in sunny Port Vila in 3 months or so on the Vida program….(I loved it so much i’m going back) If you want any info on the country let me know - otherwise I’ll likely see you sometime in Vila….

I didn’t make it to Epi when i was there, but i hear it’s one of the nicest islands! Congrats on getting the assignment.
