Just this week I’ve met two new people (both male) - friends of friends. Both of them have hit me with that “wow you’re a librarian, I’ve always had a thing for librarians, that whole let your hair down from a bun and take your glasses off thing that librarians can do…”

Also, how many more times can you deal with those jokes at parties from inebriated people about “have you been having a fun time tonight giving all the books here a dewey decimal number” and other such inane gags?
My standard replies are things like “yes, in fact, I’m wearing contact lenses right now, you got me on that. Do you want me to put my hair in a bun for you and grab my cardigan out of the car…” etc
This leather jacket, designed for wearing whilst riding motorbikes has really caught my eye. You know that I love red, especially if you’ve seen me wearing the red leather jacket that I’ve already got. This one’s different though, this one, you can ride a motorbike in. Nice.
