The Bargain Queen asks:

What is your best-ever bargain? Where did you find it, how much was it and why is it your favourite?

That’s a tricky one. The most recent bargain was one that I picked up just this Saturday at The Salvation Army Family Store, in of all places, Golden Grove. I went in there for a little bit of retail therapy and found a green cardigan. No idea who it’s made by or what it’s made from as all the labels had been cut off. It had a blue price tag on it that said $7.50. When I went to pay for it I was told it was only $3.75 because it had a blue tag on it and they were half price right now! Bargain!

Last Sunday at Harbour Town (a bit like DFO) I went to Cotton On, one of my favourite places to shop. I bought 4 long sleeved tops for around $35. That’s pretty good value for money!

As for a favourite bargain, I’m not sure I have one. I’m always picking up new things for not much money…. Op shops (thrift shops for you Americans :-) ) are one of the greatest places to find bargains!
