My friends and I send each other whoops texts and emails. A whoops text or email normally refers to an unexpected overspend. Last night it was Vanessa at Zara. Normally it’s Polly online Topshop. Or asos. Or American Apparel. Today, it’s me and The Vamoose. WHOOPS!

I did a fly by trip to Topshop last night. I was in and out in about four minutes with this little baby on my back. It’s pretty much changed my life already.

I think Ramona West is The Best vintage shop on the whole of the internet. Check out all of these things I would buy in a second if I wasn’t on a shopping ban and actually had money to spend on stuff that is so beautiful it makes me gasp and squeal and call my [...]

Any skincare company that advocates a regular intake of good books as part of a balanced lifestyle is alright by me. Never mind that Aesop‘s products leave your skin feeling incredible, smell amazing, and can be purchased from some of the most beautifully original stores I think I’ve ever seen. Each store is designed to [...]

I can’t stop thinking about these boots from APC. Reasons why: 1) Winter is coming 2) If I wear them, I will feel like a witch 3) Versatile! 4) I will feel like a witch! I am having trouble getting anything done because they are always on my mind. I think it’s love.

With party season almost upon us, it’s time to start thinking about that all important party dress. I’m prone to procrastination, which always leads to panic buying and inevitably regret. To counter that, I’ve decided to start looking for a party dress now. The funny thing is, I don’t even think I have a Christmas [...]

There are various ways to deal with bad news. In my experience, drinking too much, crying in front of a travel agent and then throwing up probably isn’t the best option. Buying something as beautiful as this, however, can do wonders for one’s emotional state: I bought this Lover dress from Blonde Venus, the best [...]

WANT LIST: Short sleeve oval bib blouse, £40. I kind of have dreams of wearing it like this, even though it’s a completely different top and wouldn’t sit as perfectly as that. [street image from the fabulous Pike/Pine]

We’re going back to Paris for a weekend in September and I’ve just decided I’m going to buy the above rust coloured dress from the new season A.P.C. range and maybe the hot white tights she’s wearing with it too. I don’t care what anyone says or how much it costs (€160 in case you’re interested). The rest [...]

I want to wear this dress with these shoes (but the shoes in grey maybe?). I don’t know. Maybe not. I don’t even wear heels but I tried these on on the weekend and they looked good. And that dress would make me feel like it’s summer, even though the rain and 15 degree temperatures are telling [...]

Oh! I’ve been looking for a black swimsuit in this shape FOREVER. Maybe not forever, but since I was at highschool and two girls in my PE class had them. They are awesome and so flattering for ladies with hips. These are from the UO US site but they don’t seem to be available in [...]

They’ve redeemed themselves this week though. 1. Pleat front square neck dress, £30 2. Leather vintage buckle bag, £50 I really [...]

I just made the mistake of going to the Irregular Choice website. Holy moly! They’re really pushing the nautical theme hard. These two are really cute though. I want to go shoe shopping now. I really need shoes for summer. Not that you’d know summer was approaching - it’s freezing, grey and windy here in Manchester.

I need a new bag. But perhaps more so, I need a more grown-up bag. I’ve been toting (ha, get it?) the same, tired old totes around for years now and I think it’s time to take the plunge into adult-bagdom. The only problem is I hate pretty much everything I see. Designer handbags just seem like [...]

In principle, fashion designers creating lines for high street stores is a fantastic idea. It makes designer names accessible to people who wouldn’t normally be able afford them, it creates brand awareness and it makes your every-day high street shopper feel as though they can get their hands on something special. In practice, however, these high street [...]

Well here it is, the first proper look at Kate Moss’s range for Topshop. While there’s nothing there I’d fight another woman for (let’s face it, there’ll be bloody battles nation-wide on May 1st), there are a few nice pieces. I’ve posted my favourites above but you can check the rest out for yourself here.

Am I retarded, or is this really cute? This striped playsuit from Topshop (surprise surprise) would be perfect for a summer beach holiday, don’t you think? I like the stripes and the buttons and the bow. But it’s a playsuit! I think they’re just plain wrong, so why does this feel so right? [...]
