Topshop Make-up design

I’ve already posted about Topshop‘s nail polish, but here’s a look at the rest of their new make-up range. The packaging is designed by Sarah Thorne, an in-house designer at Topshop. Isn’t it lush?

Jean Jullien

New work from Jean Jullien. I know I mention regularly how much I love him, but he really is special. He came in to see us at work a month or so ago and brought his sketchbooks with him. They are out of this world. The boy’s incredible. I wonder if he’d design me a [...]

Lo-Fi London

And obviously through the eyes of someone with incredible taste in… well, pretty much everything. It’s been put together by Tommy of the [...]

Selexyz Dominicanen

Oh my! I just found this incredible bookshop on The Cool Hunter. It’s in Maastricht in The Netherlands and it’s been erected inside an 800 year old former Dominican church. The bookshop was designed by Dutch architects Merkx + Girod whose major challenge lay in staying true to the church’s original charm while utilising the [...]

Book By Its Cover

I’m in love with this spectacular blog called Book By Its Cover. It was started by Julia Rothman to showcase all the beautiful books she finds, and so far she’s amassed an incredible collection of some of the prettiest art, design and photography books around. And after finding this blog, my amazon wishlist has doubled [...]

Lee Page Hanson‘s ceramics studio is just metres from my front door. Lee creates some of the most original and lovely ceramics I’ve ever seen, with images of birds and horses featuring prominently. You can buy his gorgeous tiles in the Craft and Design Centre in Manchester’s Norther Quarter.

Lost in the Woods

Not even when I had a car accident and ended up upside down in a creek, or when I was in hospital with Joyce the poo jockey (long story, I’ll save it for another time), have I been this close to actual death. Yes, actual human death. I’ve just discovered something so incredibly beautiful that I can’t even function [...]
