My life (and yours too) is made wholly of tiny little fragments of time shared with others. This is how the little things become big things. How a look or a word, a split second between you and another, can feel so monumental. On one hand it is, it’s an integral part of who we are and how we are. It is something that cannot be changed, cannot be undone, it remains yours forever. On the other hand, it is just one of many you will have today, this week, this month. And I think you (and I too) should savour every single one of them. Every interaction, every look or word. Because just as they cannot be undone, they cannot be done over. Once they are done they are done and gone for good.
I took these portraits at Coney Island on a Tuesday morning. I am possibly prouder of them than of anything I have ever done before. I hope you like them.
