Hi Vic,

My name’s Vic also. Strange, but there are a few of us around I suppose.

I just discovered your website, as you are featuring a Scoops “Bird” brooch which I’m about to snaffle.

I’m in Melbourne, so curious about why your heart lies in Brisbane….nosy I know.

I’ve just launched an accommodation directory for couples seeking a romantic sojourn in Oz. It’s http://www.lovebirds.com.au

I am also an Account Director at a web agency called Sputnik Agency in Melbourne. Anyway, it just struck me that we like the same things, so thought it may appeal to you….so much so that you feature it in your travel/wishlist sections…assume you have some Aussie fans.

Anyway, whatever, I enjoyed reading your posts and will make it a regular thing.

Cheers,
Vic

Hey Vic! Thanks for dropping by. My heart lies in Brisbane because that’s where I’m from (via a childhood in Adelaide). I’ve been in the UK since February of last year and I’m constantly homesick.

I think I’ve heard of the Sputnik Agency! It definitely sounds familiar. I worked at McCanns for two and a half years so used to hear about a lot of other agencies around Australia.

Your Lovebirds site is gorgeous, who did the illustration/animation? I’ll see if I can squeeze it in as I’d say a lot of my readers are Australian.

Thanks again for visiting, I really appreciate it.

Cheers,
Vic

(I feel like I’m talking to myself!)

Yeah it’s weird addressing Vic – anyone that reads this will just think you a little batty, that’s all. Sputnik did the illustration/animation/web build – that whole kit and caboodle.

Don’t feel too homesick. Australia is a wonderful place to live, but when you get back you’ll see that nothing changed while you were away….and you will always be welcome back with open arms.

Take care.

Vic

Hey miss,

Which section on here is hiding that beautiful artwork of a tree that a girl got tattooed on her lower back? Do you know what I’m talking about? Is English my second language? It appears so…

Hope you’re well,
Linz xxxx

Best place in South Australia for romantic getaways. Been there twice and will go back again. The place is just made for the job of getting connected with my partner.

Ummm, OK so I came to this site through Trotski and Ash. I was scanning your page thinking who is this Vic guy, oh my lord, how did Trotters & Ash keep someone so amazing a secret from me?! Then I realised Vic is my Vic. How did I not know about this site? It is the most beautiful, wonderful and genius site. Of course it was MY Vic that made it. How silly of me. Only MY Vic could ever create something like this. God, I MISS YOU!
My lizard face misses your stupid head (and huge brain).

Wow, you really succeeded! You have surrounded yourself with truly beautiful things indeed. In the spirit of give and take, and after such a lovely wander through your pages, it seems only fair to offer you another beautiful thing for your collection – my fave photographer Saul Leiter – looks like he might appeal to you. I hope you are OK with it that I have added your gorgeous blog to my links page at http://www.melbournestyle.com.au….. Love your work. Melba.
