Aesop

Any skincare company that advocates a regular intake of good books as part of a balanced lifestyle is alright by me. Never mind that Aesop‘s products leave your skin feeling incredible, smell amazing, and can be purchased from some of the most beautifully original stores I think I’ve ever seen.

Each store is designed to suit its individual location. The above pictures are from Melbourne and Adelaide. The below from the understated London store on Mount Street in Mayfair.

  1. There’s an Aesop store in Brisbane now, but I’ve yet to try any of their products. I did read about one of their sets being inspired by opera, and that certainly piqued my interest. x

I’ve just started using their amazing facial cleanser, their tea tree exfoliant and one of their moisturisers and I can feel the difference already. My skin feels clean and alive!! And just so everyone knows, they’re totally not paying me to say this (although if they want to send me some free stuff to say thanks, I’d obviously not say no!).

  7. I was so shocked when I saw the bottle-ceiling at home for the first time. It totally suits Melbourne, or somewhere like Sydney, or Brisbane even. But little old Adelaide? Since when were we so worthy?! Haha it’s nice to know we have something going for us :)

  8. i’ve been using Aesop’s products for the past two years. i dont use any other products ever since. their price is decent and the packaging is practical and eco-friendly. i converted my bf and my best friend to use Aesop and they can never been happier. I would definitely recommend it to everybody.

Sure, the stores are impressive. But if any of you are like me I’ve always found their spaces a little intimidating. All those bottles, no prices, the demonstration sinks. Anyway, I was dragged into a store by a friend 3 months ago and, life is now very different. Their staff are so wonderfully knowledgeable, friendly and appropriate. Have now been to 4 Aesop stores, all of the experiences were different but all magical. And the prices are cheap too! If you live in Brisbane, go and get served by the guy in there, there’s only 1, he’s awesome.
