Lost in the Woods

Not even when I had a car accident and ended up upside down in a creek, or when I was in hospital with Joyce the poo jockey (long story, I’ll save it for another time), have I been this close to actual death. Yes, actual human death.

I’ve just discovered something so incredibly beautiful that I can’t even function in the world any more. My life as I knew it is over.

I just stumbled across a flickr group of brooches made by a designer from Melbourne and they are the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

Behold the flickr page of Little Nemo in Slumberland. It showcases the brooches made by Lost in the Woods. I’ve just realised that I actually own one of the perspex apples (thanks Liesl) but the acryllic stuff is exquisite. Truly breathtaking!

I think you can buy some of the range at Alice Euphemia in Melbourne but I’m not sure where else.
