Spaceship Junkyard

In Siberia, spaceships fall from the sky. Magnum photographer Jonas Bendiksen took this photo of some space junk collectors surrounded by a rabble of white butterflies.

  3. Thankyou! This photo series was shown in The Sunday Times Magazine years ago, and I was transfixed. I kept the pages but they got lost when moving house and I forgot the photographer’s name. Hooray!

  8. OMG! I saw this photo in a new magnum photographers exhibition in Sydney about 3 years ago and I honestly was thinking about spending my savings for traveling and buying a print of it but I didn’t, and then have never seen it again until now! amazing! How do I subscribe to your blog?
